This policy explains what personal information Guwit Technology Solutions Ltd collects through guwit.com and our published applications, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

1. Who we are

The data controller is Guwit Technology Solutions Ltd, a private company registered in Nigeria under company registration number RC 9040112, of 8 Obiwale Street, Mowo, Badagry, Lagos State. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean that company. You can reach us at info@guwit.com.

2. Information we collect

On this website

• What you type into our contact form: your name, email address, phone number if you give one, the service you selected and your message.
• Standard server and delivery logs, including IP address and browser type, kept by our hosting provider for security and reliability.

This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and does not track you across other websites.

In our applications

Each application we publish has its own privacy notice on its store listing, because what an app collects depends on what it does. Our teaching applications are designed to work without accounts and without collecting personal information beyond what the platform itself requires.

3. Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quotation.
• To deliver and support work you have engaged us for.
• To meet our accounting, tax and legal obligations.
• To keep our systems secure and functioning.

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Who else sees it

• Our hosting and form providers, which transmit and store the message you send.
• Professional advisers such as accountants, where required.
• Public authorities, where Nigerian law requires disclosure.

Where a provider processes information on our behalf, they act only on our instructions.

5. Client data

When we build or maintain a system for a client, we may have access to data belonging to that client and to their customers. In that situation the client is the data controller and we act as a data processor: we handle the data only as instructed, under a written agreement, and we do not use it for any purpose of our own.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within twelve months. Records relating to completed work are kept for as long as Nigerian tax and company law requires, and then deleted.

7. Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to a particular use. Write to info@guwit.com and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Security

Access to enquiry and project records is restricted to staff who need it, and our sites are served over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we do not store payment card details at any point.

9. Children

This website is intended for adults. Where an application we publish is suitable for children, its store listing and in-app notice say so and describe what it collects.

10. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
